A UNIQUE BIKEPACKING ADVENTURE IN THE WILDEST PART OF TUSCANY

The Maremma Challenge Bikepacking is a tough unsupported bike adventure designed for trained riders who are used to cycle in autonomy (without any support from the organising team). Landscape, history, nature, community and adventure, for riders looking for a new challenge to push their own boundaries.

The Route

500 KM AND 10000 MT OF ELEVATION GAIN

ONE STAGE CIRCULAR ROUTE

A one stage tour of 500km and 14000mt elevation gain with 80hours time limit to achieve the ARI Off-Road Patent (> 80km and > 60% off-road/ dirt). The circular route on unpaved roads and single tracks, with departure and arrival from Massa Marittima, winds through enchanting medieval villages, suggestive protected natural areas, breathtaking views of the coastal line and of the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.

Join the other bikepackers at the Welcome Festival on Friday 17 May 2024. Live music, delicious food, and lots of good vibes to welcome all participants, their families and friends.
A great moment to fill up on energies and lift the spirits before the start line.
A bikepacking adventure is mostly about discovery, meeting new people and sharing emotions!
