MAREMMA CHALLENGE
The first edition Maremma Challenge Ultra Trail epowered by Bosch in April of 2021, saw the participation by invitation of only 15 athletes due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
We had the pleasure of having two friends and world-class professionals with us Marco Aurelio Fontana and Martino Fruet who with their enthralling enthusiam and vitality guided the rest of the group along the route of emtb 578 km (forest trails, dirt roads, only 20% asphalt) in about 37 hours, with departure and arrival at Bike Garage & More in Massa Marittima.

This first edition, which we call edition zero, has allowed us to test the route, to add easy variants, to conslidate relations with the Municipalities involved in the circuit, and to build a good network of operators in the area.
Strengthened by the experience of 2021, for the 2022 edition of the Maremma Challenge we wanted to create variations to make the route suitable for all types of bicycles (Gravel, MTB, eMTB).
