How does it work?

18-21 May 2024

The Maremma Challenge offers pure adventure with the BIKEPACKING packet (ARI Off Road certificate of recognition).

BICYCLE

The Maremma Challenge is suitable for all types of bicycles. Along the way, you will find suitable variants for both gravel and mtb.

SINGLE PHASE

The course is comprised of a single phase during which you can choose at your own pace when, where and whether to stop, rest, and eat.

TIME LIMIT

Maximum time 80h (bike-packing philosophy).

NO ASSISTANCE

An adventure of your own on the saddle of your bicycle. There is no assistance from the organizers, except of course in the event of an emergency.

GPX

We will provide you with the GPX track of the route on KOMOOT which you will need to follow without detours

SAFETY

Having safe fun is our motto. During the event you must bring a livetracking device with you (to help you in case of need), if you don't have one, we will provide you with a LifePass.

RECOGNITION

If you finish the route within 80h, you will obtain the ARI Off-Road recognition.
If instead you'd like to pedal at your leisure and without time constraints, you will be certified by the BGM Maremma Challenge.

WELCOME KIT / COCKTAIL PARTY

Your registration includes a welcome kit and a drink upon your arrival.
